My challenge quilt sits untouched since October and the deadline is coming faster than I really thought. Even with the deadline looming, I seek out new fabric for other, undreamt of projects and travel the web in search of creativeness that inspires me.
Since last winter, when I completed a wall hanging for my grandmother, I have wanted to create a doll blanket. They are mini, easy to manage, quick to complete and quiltable with my simple machine. I found this new blog by Wood who is creating magic one doll blanket at a time. Check it out.
This is what I needed to get off my behind and get quilting on the challenge quilt. I have set up my table and taken out the machine and materials. Once it's done I can create some doll quilts for the kiddo. It's all ready for me...to work tomorrow. :)
